Job Description

As the lead analyst within the Optimization Analytics team, you will help the team use data to understand and optimize the strategy and execution of the Western Digital Customer Organization. You will partner closely with leadership from eCommerce, Customer support, and Warranty operations to create and communicate data-driven and actionable solutions that will positively impact hundreds of employees and thousands of customers globally. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team of data and analytics professionals to develop structured, actionable insights to improve business metrics and performance
  • Partner closely with internal leadership in eCommerce, Customer Support, and Warranty Operations to identify, design, and develop KPIs and an analytical roadmap
  • Create, restructure, and manage large internal datasets to extract relevant reporting data. Build processes and visualizations that transform raw data into actionable business insights
  • Strategically deliver monthly forecasting models for support leadership to optimize budgets
  • Drive the roadmap of the CDP for the westerndigital.com eCommerce store for increased personalization
  • Identify areas of optimization in Western Digital Warranty Operations process to provide financial lift
  • Partner closely with internal data teams such as Data Engineering, Data Science, and IT to develop the data architecture needed in order to efficiently scale reporting
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, and challenging the business appropriately to consider new and creative ways of doing things, contributing to our customers and internal stakeholders
  • Mentor and coach a team of analysts to foster career growth while also championing data driven decision making within the eCommerce, Customer Support, and Warranty Operations teams

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree from top university in Business Administration, Analytics, Statistics, or similar; Masters preferred
  • 8+ years of experience with strong track record of optimization of KPIs and exceeding operational goals such as QBRs
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytics skills with an ability to pull together compelling insights and presentations to a wide variety of stakeholders
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience managing a team of technically advanced analytic professionals in analytics
  • Experience and expertise in Adobe SiteCatalyst, Tableau/PowerBI, and SQL
  • Experience managing an A/B testing program and working with IT, Data Engineering, and CMS tools
  • 1 years’ experience in customer support analytics
  • Proven data analysis skills, able to apply a variety of analytics tools and approaches to solve different types of problems
  • Ability to communicate to both business and technical resources
  • Proven track record of mentorship and coaching
