Team: 

The Product Security Team is chartered with facilitating product attestation and third-party security reviews of the ServiceNow Platform, applications, and products. 

Role: 

This role will support third-party security reviews and penetration tests to identify cybersecurity risks. In addition, you will help build positive relationships with Engineering, Enterprise Security, and customer-facing teams as a core tenant of the role and the team. 

What you get to do in this role: 

  • As an engineer on the ServiceNow Application Security Team, you will be responsible in identifying security vulnerabilities within our platform. 

  • In this role, you will interface with external researchers and customers that perform security assessments against ServiceNow. 

  • You will have the opportunity to run dynamic security testing tools, plan projects, and be a security advocate. 

  • Coordinate security assessments and penetration testing activities between third-party vendors, engineering teams, security operations, and other stakeholders 

  • Assist in supporting the US Federal compliance program with third-party penetration testing 

  • Document findings and summarize risks 

  • Coordinate with system/application owners to remediate vulnerabilities 

  • Recommend best-practice security procedures, standards, and guidelines 

  • Develop and run reports using relevant security metrics data 

  • Develop and maintain security dashboards and scorecards 

  • Work with different ServiceNow security teams to help drive security improvements within the platform 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you have: 

  • Will be working in a Federal environment requiring US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident (Green Card) with 3 years of residency. Must be eligible for a US security clearance.  

  • 8+ years of application/product security
