Working hours
Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time
After hours as needed to meet deadlines.
Location requirements
Remote (work from home) however Denver is preferred with a required visit to the office once per week.

Who you are
You are proactive and have a comprehensive grasp of the standard accounting cycle. Your independence fosters versatility and adaptability in various processes. You possess outstanding verbal and written communication along with strong presentation skills.
You know how to:
- Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping, documentation, calculation, payment, and filing of returns for all sales and use tax returns.
- Prepare and post journal entries, account adjustments, and accruals to the General Ledger.
- Ensure proper revenue and expense recognition.
- Reconcile bank accounts along with maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
- Manage PBC’s and prepare schedules for annual audit.
- Assist with budget preparation, monitor actual versus budget variances, and report findings to management.
- Work across multiple departments, set priorities, plan, and manage projects and recommend corrective actions that will help achieve financial targets.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in accrual-based accounting along with analyzing data, post transaction details, month-end, quarterly and annual closing procedures, and financial statement preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Knowledge and experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
- Public accounting experience a plus
- CPA, CGMA, or CMA a plus
Pay and Benefits
This is a full-time position located in the United States and performed remotely.
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 annually, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis (The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees] skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role. Note that the majority of individuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end of this pay scale is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.)
