The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Marketing Development Analyst for USA & Canada in the 3M Personal Safety Division (PSD), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Develops marketing plans for healthcare buying groups and GPOs and interfaces with key stakeholders from these groups to execute marketing tactics in both US and Canada to grow the PSD safety business
• Creates, analyzes, executes, and monitors the administration of healthcare related contracts (e.g., GPOs), requests for quotes (RFQs), and requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Redlines GPO contracts at time of renewal and identifies potential enterprise risk in the contracts
• Participates in and leads negotiation teams to finalize GPO contract terms
• Manages the healthcare GPO member rosters and leads the process to ensure accurate system pricing; advises the portfolio team to attain pricing standardization across GPOs
• Provides strategic guidance to field sales teams to help healthcare facilities navigate access to 3M products and grow sales
• Acts as subject matter expert on the healthcare go-to-market strategy
• Performs complex market analysis on GPO related business to understand customer, channel and competitor trends to recommend marketing strategies for growth

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or paralegal degree (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of marketing and/or contracting experience in a private or public environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience working with GPOs, distributors and the healthcare supply chain
• Experience redlining and managing contracts
• Experience negotiating
• Experience with managing pricing agreements for accuracy
• Experience working with regulations and guidance set forth by FDA / OSHA / CDC / ANSI
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Project management, operations and account planning skills

Work location:

Travel: May include up to 15% in USA and Canada
