JOB TITLE: SUBSTITUTE NURSE

 

TO WHOM RESPONSIBLE: School Administrator and Nurse Director

 

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful applicant for this position must possess and/or show evidence of the following:

 

-Valid WV Certificate in the area for which applying.

 

-The ability to work with a school to support learning as a health care provider and manager in the school setting. 

 

-The ability to advocate for the health rights of children and promote an optimal level of wellness for students and staff. 

 

Exhibits the following roles: 

 

1. Manager of health care
2. Deliverer of health services
3. Advocate for health rights of children
4. consultant for the health concerns of students, families, and staff
5. Promoter of sound health care practices within the school and community.
