HSE Engineer (Microsoft Data Center)

TERNA S.A., member of GEK TERNA Group, is currently looking for a:

HSE Engineer (Microsoft Data Center)

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitors the implementation of the Project HSE Plan/System
• Conducts regular workplace inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Supervises the appropriate and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ensures that appropriate safety equipment is available to all personnel, that it is inspected on a regular basis and replaced as required
• Implements safety rules according to the requirements in the worksite and as per recommendation of the HSE plan

• Develops Work Method Statements when needed
• Informs Project Director in case of nonconformity and ensures that all the corrective actions defined by the Project Director are implemented
• Conducts regular staff trainings about occupational hazards in order to avoid accidents at work sites
• Investigates accidents at work sites and proposes appropriate actions in collaboration with Health and Safety Head Department
• Prepares monthly reports regarding Project HSE activities and relevant issues

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or E/M Engineering
• At least 2 years of working experience as an HSE Engineer in the construction sector
• In-depth knowledge of the national legislation for the safety at work and the relevant national environmental legislation will be considered an asset
• Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written)
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
