Position Summary
Analogic Corporation, A global leader in imaging, detection and power technologies, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive an effort to outsource specific manufacturing activities to a contract manufacturer. The ideal candidate would possess extensive experience in program management and working with diverse functional teams to drive adherence to an aggressive schedule. Next-level organizational skills and demonstrable mastery of common project management tools (i.e., Microsoft Project) are a must.
Responsibilities
- Acts as the central hub of activity-tracking and schedule adherence in large-scale transfer of specific manufacturing activities to a contract manufacturer
- Manages and delegates roles and responsibilities across production, planning, procurement, engineering, quality and manufacturing to ensure the smooth transfer of knowledge and guarantee success
- Develops and adjusts the transition plan with the contract manufacturer to maximize time and cost efficiencies
- Defines and maintains project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risk and issue lists
- Identifies, prioritizes, resolves and escalates issues as appropriate and realigns priorities as necessary to meet project deadlines
- Provides regular status updates to the management team and other key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timeliness
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing complex, high-visibility projects-experience in manufacturing outsourcing preferred
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with diverse functional teams, drive accountability and schedule adherence
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and can adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Mastery of common project management tools, as well as Excel and PowerPoint
- PMP Certification preferred
