SciTec is seeking a Project Manager for to join the Program Management Office in support of day-to-day program operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a small business delivering core capabilities for National defense to support our programs delivering Next-Generation Missile Warning software. You will work within a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. SciTec seeks a candidate who will thrive in an environment where they can develop creative and efficient solutions to challenging problems.
Responsibilities
- Manage a broad range of day-to-day program operations tasks including support to the Program Manager, Security, Facilities, and the Business teams
- Reviewing and improving practices within the programs
- Coordinates with the Program Manager and team leads to communicate program impediments or issues / delays in completing tasks.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or business
- Industry experience with minimum of four years with project management
- Strong team-building, time-management, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written communication, briefing, and presentation skills
- Ability to interact, brief and develop positive relationships with company senior leadership
- Detail oriented
Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred
- An advanced degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
- Experience with Agile principals (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban, etc.)
- Business Development experience
- Active DoD Final SECRET clearance or higher

The pay range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
