Nasdaq is looking for a Senior Marketing Analytics Strategist inside Nasdaq’s newly formed Financial Technology business. This is an exciting opportunity to build, develop and perfect the reporting and analytics framework for the Financial Technology Marketing & Communications function, which supports a $1B solutions revenue profile and a global client footprint of over 3,500+ financial institutions in 70+ countries.
With responsibility for analytics and lead funnel management, this role will be an instrumental part of our continued growth and productivity through data-driven decision-making. With the commitment to accuracy and top-notch reporting, the ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for marketing data and constantly explore new ways to improve reporting accuracy and intelligence and a keen ability to triangulate data points across several platforms to derive actionable insights that will:

Reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing for Financial Technology, the Strategist will partner with the broader marketing team – Content Strategy, Field Marketing and GTM – and Revenue Operations to accelerate growth and retention programs globally. As the team activates against various revenue objectives, the Senior Marketing Analytics Strategist will track impact and pollinate this intelligence to key stakeholder groups with confidence supported by a cohesive narrative, KPIs and visualizations.
Core Responsibilities include:
Manage the Lead Funnel: Actively manage the lead funnel in partnership with Revenue Marketing to recognize audience contact gaps, profile inbound activity, and identify opportunities for nurturing programs to advance prospects down the sales funnel.
Develop Scalable and Customized Forensic Marketing Dashboards tailored to different business functions including field marketers, digital marketers, content marketers, and various levels of stakeholders from manager to executive leadership to track marketing performance metrics and KPIs throughout the lead funnel.
Deliver Timely, Actionable Reporting to measure marketing performance and Return-On-Investment for marketing channels for KPIs, including responses generated, MQLs, SAL, pipeline and closed Sales. Establish and maintain a regular reporting cadence of key metrics.
Manage Data Hygiene across marketing information including customer data and key marketing metrics with a focus on ensuring updated and ‘clean’ data in various platforms (Marketo, Marketo Measure, Salesforce, etc.) working in collaboration with RevOps & other Performance Marketers.
Power a Data-Driven Culture, own and share data and reporting best practices with teams and bring improvement ideas to leadership that will improve efficiency and deliver outsized impact.
Creatively Problem Solve to resolve insights gaps and clearly articulate how to solve problems or answer questions with data.
Drive Marketing Effectiveness via Measurement: Measure channel and offer effectiveness by account and role to drive future marketing strategy, budget and resource efficiency. Track lead source, channel attribution, and offer effectiveness throughout the lifecycle of the sales funnel.
Integrate Technology and Data: Utilize and integrate various marketing and analytics tools to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Manage Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with the enterprise analytics and automation functions to standardize, unify, and improve metrics already tracked (MQL creation, SQL conversion rates, campaign ROI, pipeline creation, revenue creation). Expand measurement capabilities to closely track Churn, CAC, LTV, and CLV.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, and SQL.
Proficiency in Salesforce.com and preferred experience working across Marketing Automation, CDP, Attribution and Web Analytics platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience with audience segmentation, targeting, and campaign optimization.
