RN Clinical Nurse Supervisor - Lead a Team of Caregivers!

Overview
Diamond Willow is an Assisted Living and Memory Care facility that started in 2004. Twenty-six residents call our Duluth Lester Park facility home.  Diamond Willow is dedicated to providing quality care to our residents through compassionate care and ensuring that our residents and their needs remain at the forefront of our focus.

We are looking for RN Clinical Nurse Supervisor for our Lester Park location due to an internal promotion.  This Lester Park leader will report directly to the Regional LALD/RN Director, who previously succeeded in this role.

Diamond Willow has partnered with AHI for an after-hours and weekend clinical on-call help center for our care staff to help support our ongoing clinical needs when our Registered Nurses are off-site. This means more time for our RN’s to recharge and give back to our residents and staff. Imagine doing what you love but still getting the needed time off.

Responsibilities
Appropriate documentation of all changes in condition, problem areas, events, vital signs, client declines, and labs

Ensure that all resident issues are addressed with assessment and interventions timely
Communicating with the Regional Director regarding relevant staff and resident information and/or concerns
Completing Vulnerable Adults, MAARC Reports, and Incident Reports
Ensure MD orders are processed and performed
Updating families on any changes to the resident and addressing family or patient concerns.
Review and sign off on PRN medications

Complete tours, screens, and admissions for prospective clients

Completing any off-site assessments for potential admits
Addressing and documenting any staff issues that arise.
Overseeing staff and ensuring all staff are meeting job expectations and requirements.

Maintain compliance with the State of MN Assisted Living rules and regulations, Fair Housing rules and regulations, and Nurse Practice Act

Requirements
Passionate about leading a team to high levels of performance in providing outstanding care to our residents
Will need to ensure staffing is adequate and meets our residents’ needs- this could mean time spent onsite on various shifts and weekends
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Must be able to work as a team member and maintain a positive demeanor

Ability to be on call from 7am-5pm on weekdays, with limited weekend on-call.

Qualifications
Possess a valid Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
Assisted Living Experience preferred

Willingness to obtain MN Assisted Living Director Licensing

Must possess a valid Driver's License

Must have reliable transportation
