DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL BIOLOGICAL PLATFORM

 

We are seeking an experienced Director of Global Biological Platform to oversee the daily activities of our R&D team, interface with global business units, and ensure the effective operation of equipment and launch processes across multiple markets. This role requires strategic oversight of critical vendor relationships and collaborative work with various business units to support and drive growth in our biological division.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Manage day to day activities of biological R&D professionals
• Interface with global business unites to capture needs
• Manage global equipment operations and product launches
• Vet and manage relationships with key vendors/suppliers
• Support NCH Life Sciences business activities
• Perform other related duties as required

 

Skills & Requirements

 

• PhD in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biotechnology, micro biology, molecular biology) with a focus on Bacillus spores or Master’s with 12+ years of relevant experience
• 10+ years of experience in biotechnology industry
• 5+ years of leading and managing a team in scientific research and development environment
• New product development and formulations preferred
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in biological technology
• High level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams  
• Solid knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office, Oracle and LIMs base systems
