The Senior Advisor I, Process Automation plays a key role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes within ERP environments to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance user experience. This role blends SAP expertise, process engineering, and advanced analytics to identify automation opportunities and deliver data-driven solutions that drive measurable business value.

 

What You'll Do

  • Analyze, design, and optimize end-to-end business processes within ERP systems, including SAP, to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
  • Identify, validate, and prioritize automation opportunities in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and intelligent workflow solutions.
  • Lead process discovery efforts, including interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis, to define current and future state processes.
  • Identify process gaps and uncover inefficiencies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions and software tools that streamline routine tasks and integrate human and system activities.
  • Apply advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) techniques to identify patterns and generate business insights.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through analytical modeling and insight generation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate process improvements and technology solutions.
  • Plan, manage, and deliver small projects or workstreams aligned to defined timelines and outcomes.
  • Perform system testing and validate solutions to ensure functionality, quality, and performance standards.
  • Monitor application performance and recommend ongoing enhancements to optimize system capabilities.

 

What You'll Bring – Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years of experience in process automation, business analysis, or ERP-related roles
  • 1 or more years of experience with AI tools (experience with Joule is preferred but open to Glean, Copolit, ChatGPT, etc.)

 

What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred

  • Experience applying AI/ML techniques to business process optimization
  • Knowledge of AutoML, data modeling, and advanced analytics tools
  • Experience with APIs, JavaScript, or modern programming languages
  • Experience with ABAP/UI5, .Net and Automation Anywhere
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices
  • Strong business intelligence and data visualization skills
  • Experience facilitating workshops and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Knowledge of process modeling tools and BPM frameworks
  • Professional certifications in SAP, data analytics, or process improvement disciplines
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in business process mapping and optimization
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Familiarity with automation tools, scripting, or programming concepts
  • Experience supporting testing, implementation, and performance monitoring of technology solutions

 

Compensation Range 

This position has a base salary range of $140,400 – $171,600.
