Technical Project Manager (Hybrid - 1 to 2 days per week onsite in Irvine, CA)
Overview:
The Technical Project Manager at Weedmaps will lead our partners to adopt new API’s, work with 3rd-party partners to embed new technologies into their products, or advocate for WM to build new technologies where appropriate, and be an advocate for our partners within Weedmaps. This individual will partner closely with Marketing, Customer Support, Engineering and Product to ensure alignment around public beta testing and other interconnected initiatives that support Menu, Orders, and Catalog Integrations. The ideal candidate will be well versed in multiple business models, a strong communicator, have a good understanding of APIs, and be an analytical problem solver who understands complex integrations.
The impact you’ll make:
- Lead communications with internal teams and subject matter experts to represent our customers’ requirements, triage, and prioritize customer feedback to ensure clarity within organization
- Provide updates regarding Menu, Orders, and Catalog integrations for internal revenue teams to the appropriate channels
- Work in close cooperation with the partner account manager, and help manage relationships with third-party integration partners by providing necessary documentation; answers via slack, email, virtual calls
- Manage the integration beta and migration programs by owning the feedback loop for all new and ongoing integrations including:
- Work with the integration partner and Sales in order to obtain a list of beta customers to onboard
- Work with stakeholders on both sides to help design and document scalable onboarding flows
- Obtain and document all of the necessary information required to onboard the beta customers including API Keys, points of contact, and other relevant information.
- Collect, collate, and present customer feedback to management in order to ultimately present customer “asks” to the engineering team
- Answer customer queries related to their integration
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients who are willing to join Beta Tests for new integrations/releases to integrations
What you’ve accomplished:
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Experience working in 3rd party integrations and APIs
- Standard project management skills to facilitate work and provide visibility into progress
- A high-level understanding of basic end-to-end engineering processes (requirements, development, testing, release, comms)
- Bachelor of Science highly desired (particularly in Computer & Information Science) but open to any majors.
Bonus Points:
- Prior experience managing client relationships as an account manager or other customer-service
The base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
