What you will do:

 

  • Work with the Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable to provide accurate data analytics and reporting, execute process improvements through automation, perform timely month end close procedures, and effectively plan and deliver AR support for Nutrien North America operations  
  • Provide leadership and support during multi-year transition to SAP S/4 HANA while supporting team during coexistence of current systems, including PeopleSoft, Proprietary Point of Sale (ARS), Hyland OnBase, SAP ECC, MSS, and Oracle.
  • Identify specific areas where current processes may be lagging or consuming undue resources.
  • Manage process improvement and other projects to completion working with department resources and/or with internal company project resources.
  • Perform month end operating expense review for the Accounts Receivable department and annual budget/forecast preparation
  • Manage the off-balance sheet relationship and activities for Nutrien Ag Solutions Canada’s Trade AR
  • Manage Accounts Receivable Bank Reconciliation, Unclaimed Property and other related areas.
  • Provide direction, support, and feedback to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
  • Facilitate resolution of issues among stakeholders including Nutrien and Managed Services, and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal leaders and personnel in Finance, Credit, Treasury, Digital, HR, IT and Operations

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a recognized institution, CPA or IFRS experience a plus
  • Minimum 8-10 years accounting experience, at least part in Accounts Receivable
  • Minimum 5 years of Management experience
  • Change Management experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles; IFRS Accounts Receivable and Accounting experience is considered an asset
  • Education or experience in cash tendering solutions for Accounts Receivable
  • Experience in large ERP Finance platforms like PeopleSoft, MSS Oracle, HighRadius and SAP S/4HANA a plus
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-Lookups)
  • Ability to mentor, support and motivate others
  • Apply knowledge, expertise, and judgement in decision making and problem solving
  • Effectively communicate and provide support across many levels of the organization
  • Attention to detail, ability to stay on task and meet deadlines

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

Salary Range $98,400 - $135,300 annually. This range is estimated for Manager, Accounts Receivable OTC role in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
