$17.98 Hourly | Full Time | 7:30am-3:30pm Monday - Friday

Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will assist the classroom teacher with the implementation of the educational program. This position must maintain a working relationship with other staff members, parents, and children. You will report to education leadership.
Primary Tasks:
- You will monitor the safety and behavior of children in classroom, on the bus, and while on the playground.
- Help set up the environment (indoor/outdoor) for the activities of the day.
- Help prepare and teach Weekly Planning Form based on children's individual developmental needs
- Observe and record behaviors of children to assist the teacher in the identification of each child's strengths and growth areas.
- You will attend parent meetings, home visits, parent/teacher conferences.
- Assist children during meals.
- Be a willing participant in Tribal functions when needed
- Must maintain a commercial driver's license (minimum of Class "C" with a passenger endorsement and a School Bus Driving Certificate)
- Must obtain a Food Handler's Permit
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Must have knowledge and ability to work with appropriate software applications.
- Must have the ability to work with children, remain calm, and patient when emergency situations and difficult situations occur
- Experience working with children with a professional setting preferred (2+ years)
