About the role

This position has a $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence.

The Social Worker, LICSW will function as a core member of a multidisciplinary team and communicate patient's health care needs with primary care, behavioral health services, health care facilities and/or payers. Acts as an advocate and helps patient gain access to resources while confronting their personal issues, such as mental illness, addiction, and abuse. The position takes responsibility for management of a therapeutic caseload (individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults as requested) providing timely charting and record keeping. The Social Worker may provide evidence-based treatments or work with other mental health providers when such treatment is indicated.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) in an education program accredited by the council on social work education and approved by the secretary based upon nationally recognized standards.     
  • Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License or
    • Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Temporary License.
  • 2 years in the field or in a related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years Ambulatory Clinic or Hospital.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
