About the Role:
The Physician Outreach Liaison will be responsible for managing community primary care provider relationships as well as outbound outreach to engage patients with TailorCare. They will be required to meet quality and production metrics in order to provide the highest level of customer service to every patient and community partner. Physician Outreach Liaisons are responsible for learning the outreach model and adapting it to constantly changing patient interactions. This position will be responsible for defining and executing a strategic plan to build high-quality, high-value relationships between TailorCare and the leading medical groups in the markets served. The ideal candidate must be goal oriented, innovative, and willing to adjust to a fast paced and evolving environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships and ongoing communications with physicians and medical practice groups including outreach, program introduction, scheduling, presenting, and routine follow up with data on referrals, ultimately increasing referral volume to TailorCare
- Make regular contact (via in-person meetings, telephone, email or other channels) with existing network of referring physicians, office managers, community grand rounds coordinators and other staff to build relationships necessary to drive referral patient volume
- Effectively communicate the value of the TailorCare program to the target population and community physicians
- Report weekly on referral volume by channel, tracking activity and effectiveness of outreach in CRM tools
- Maintain outreach schedule for physicians in the community, leveraging reports and dashboards to prioritize outreach
- Escalate issues reported by PCP partners or barriers to receiving referrals to various departments within TailorCare
- Use critical thinking to determine when to pull in various organizational leaders to attend PCP meetings
- Work closely with Marketing to develop collateral to support outreach
- Manage community and patient relations by proactively dealing with inquiries and complaints, ensuring effective communication and feedback with the appropriate teams.
- Define and execute plan for operational and clinical integration with key primary care providers in the local market
- Use critical thinking skills to create outreach strategies that are designed to maximize provider awareness and engagement
- Develop a thorough understanding of the TailorCare clinical program
- Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of all Protected Health Information
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
- Accurately record patient information
Qualifications:
- Valid GA Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or social science related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in provider network, medical sales, provider practice sales, or key account management
- Experience communicating with a senior population over the phone, documenting patient interactions is a plus
- Experience in orthopedics or spine care is a plus
- Experience with basic Microsoft Office product suite and CRM tools, excel skills are a plus
Location:
This role is a hybrid of WFH and field-based. Applicants must reside in the Atlanta area – this position will require weekly visits to local community provider offices and thus also requires reliable transportation. Mileage will be reimbursed.
