About the role
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Lead with a strong background in electrical systems to oversee field operations, support service teams, and ensure high-quality customer service. This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and leadership skills to manage field technicians, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and coordinate with clients and internal teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and support field service technicians in performing installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving support.
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily service activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate field technicians to strengthen team capabilities and performance.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering, and customers to resolve service needs and ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process, equipment, or training enhancements.
Professional Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical field service, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, controls, power distribution, and automation equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
- OSHA or other relevant safety certifications a plus.
- Primarily field-based with regular travel to customer sites.
- Requires the ability to work in industrial, manufacturing, and outdoor environments.
- May require overtime, weekend, or on-call support depending on service demands.
