As a Strategic Partner Enablement Leader – Consumer Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing strong partnerships with our strategic business partners. Your primary responsibility will be to enable our partners to effectively promote, position and refer Home Lending (HL) products to our clients, prospects and Centers of Influence (COIs). Additionally, you will enable our Loan Officers to understand the priorities and rules of engagement in the other Consumer lines of business, driving mutual success and growth across the Consumer Bank. You will act as the day-to-day lead for our enablement partners, as well as the key point of contact for the HL Business Enablement Team for Home Lending change initiatives, driving change across the HL sales org.  

This role leverages partnerships and the insights that come from those partnerships to formulate ideas and proposals that inform recommended production driver strategies. Presents recommended business opportunities and solutions to senior and executive leadership. The Consumer Consultant Strategic Partner Enablement Leader researches external market trends and competitive data, informs business strategy design, and leads the coordination of support partner activities for complex medium to large size initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborates with LOB partners and HL sales to provide partners with the necessary resources, collateral, and tools to effectively speak to our products and solutions
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key partner contacts, acting as a liaison between partners and internal teams
  • Recommends opportunities for partner collaboration and executes on initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and advancements in our solutions to ensure partners have accurate and current information
  • Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess partner performance and provide regular reporting and feedback to partners to drive improvement
  • Helps manage strategic business routines within the HL sales leader team, including, but not limited to, weekly leadership calls and regular touch-bases with market sales teams.
  • Collaborates and partners closely with line of business partners and the HL Business Enablement Team to develop and execute on enablement programs
  • Executes on strategic plans and is accountable for the pertinent aspects of assigned initiatives as it relates to the acquisition, deepening and retention of clients, field support and/or innovation/product initiatives
  • Leads and coordinates peer activity across all elements of the Home Lending strategy as it relates to acquisition, deepening relations, retaining clients, field support and/or innovation/product initiatives
  • Manages the tracking and communication of the progress against business goals
  • Keeps regular contact with field advocates
  • Ensures initiatives are executed according to on-time and quality delivery requirements
  • Reviews progress, decisions, and unusual situations with senior management
  • Keeps up to date on industry best practices
  • Drives cross-functional implementation teams including but not limited to internal team members, support partners, and vendors to ensure successful execution of complex medium to large-scale initiatives
  • Drives execution by effectively managing priorities, pace, scope, quality, cost, and risk

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial services
  • Demonstrated multiple project management leadership skills; experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale, multi-functional projects from vision through implementation
  • Demonstrated analytical, process management and conceptual skills
  • Demonstrated ability to express complex concepts in terms that are understandable to the business partners, senior leaders, and the sales force
  • Superior teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all management levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with support partners and influence a geographically diverse sales teams
  • Superior knowledgeable of mortgage and financial products, e.g. deposit & credit products, etc.
  • Advance Microsoft office skills
