Job Title: Physical Therapy Aide/Tech with Citrus Valley Therapy
Location: Redlands, CA (on-site)
Salary: $17/hr
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Aide/Tech supports therapists in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting with treatments, maintaining clinic operations, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for patients. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:

Patient Assistance:
- Assist therapists during treatments, including gait training, therapeutic exercises, and patient transfers.
- Safely transport patients and utilize equipment like bolsters and wedges for proper positioning.

Patient Care Support:
- Apply heat packs, cold packs, and electrodes under therapist supervision.
- Assist with the setup of ultrasound (US) and electrical stimulation (e-stim) equipment.
- Instruct patients in Home Exercise Programs.

Clinic Operations:
- Maintain and update accurate patient flowsheets.
- Clean and maintain clinic equipment, modalities, and linens.
- Ensure adequate inventory by reviewing stock and requesting supplies as needed.

Administrative Duties:
- Answer phones professionally and assist with basic scheduling if the Front Desk Coordinator (FDC) is unavailable.
- Perform new patient intake when the FDC is unavailable.
- Address patient questions and resolve concerns to the best of your ability.

Clinic Maintenance:
- Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Perform opening and/or closing procedures for the clinic.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree or certification in healthcare, kinesiology, or a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of therapeutic exercises, gait training, and patient care practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Prior experience in a clinical or physical therapy setting is a plus.
