Responsibilities

The Systems Integrator will support the Sponsor as a Project Manager, assisting with the facilitation of mission/business requests, running governance boards, and conducting community outreach. This will consist of working multiple activities simultaneously at times, capturing action items, and defining and disseminating business processes.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical, consultative, facilitative, administrative support to the Sponsor component’s governance process and boards.
  • Supporting the Sponsor in fielding system requests, running technical boards and conducting community outreach; supporting working groups to obtain project requirements, provide updates.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules.
  • Ability to lead teams comprised of Developers and DBA providing O&M support.
  • Ability to run scrum activities for development (O&M) teams (daily scrums, sprint reviews and planning sessions).
  • Provide support to Sponsor governance boards (developing agendas, recording and tracking minutes/action items, coordinate location specifics and room requests, sending out Microsoft Outlook invitations, coordinating with speakers, assist with preparing and distributing briefing decks, facilitating Video Teleconference (VTC) and/or Skype for Business meetings, etc.)
  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the office by providing assistance in submitting access, tool requests.
  • Ability to assist in preparation of presentations and reports using Microsoft Office products.
  • Aiding in meeting facilitation and information sessions, in coordination with the Sponsor.
  • Assisting the Sponsor in assessing, documenting, and tracking program requirements and follow-on technical exchange meetings (TEMs) in a scrum master / coordinator role.
  • Compose, maintain, and manage program documentation as required (e.g., SOPs, Technical Directives, internal polices, Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM) associated with the Program.)
  • Work independently and amongst a team, with minimal supervision, to address roadblocks and deliver results in a timely manner; provide the most relevant course of action; or to support/backfill other team members [i.e., system integrators] across the Sponsor’s divisions when other team members are away from the Sponsor site.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management (PM) Methodologies, and familiarity with the Sponsor’s PM Framework.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and work experience with Agile Methodologies, ability to run scrum ceremonies/meetings and engage with Product Owners and Product Line Managers.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Front Office integration support, in stakeholder engagement and program governance.
  • Demonstrated senior-level interpersonal effectiveness, political savviness, and communication skills to interact/network with all levels of the workforce (e.g., senior-level management to developers) and write and present program artifacts that are appropriately tailored to meet the information needs of the audience.
  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience (3 years)) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline; 16 Years’ experience, 5 years in IC.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in enterprise data strategy, data governance practices, data stewardship principles, data architecture principles, data standards, and metadata management best practices.
  • Experience with successful, full life-cycle software development projects
  • Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories.
