The Role:
As a Director of Process Management, you will lead the Well Managed area for Personal Loans. Your team will manage risk management aligned processes like intake, control strategy and process mapping, program management for large initiatives within Personal Loans and focus on campaign management and experience, focusing on delivering flawlessly executed processes that improve business efficiency and drive results. You will serve as the leader and subject matter expert on process improvement initiatives while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time.

Be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role
Must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate a team in delivering flawless execution of process improvement projects
Responsibilities of this role may include:
Leading moderate to large size teams to drive complex process improvement initiatives
Designing, developing and managing process initiatives in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
Partnering cross-functionally with clients to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive results
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Serving as subject matter expert on a process improvement initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 7 years of experience in Process Management or Project Management
At least 5 years of experience in People Management
At least 2 years of Risk Management or compliance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree or MBA
8+ years of experience in Process Management or Project Management
6+ years of experience in People Management
3+ years of experience in consumer credit risk management
3+ years of experience in Strategic planning
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $190,300 - $217,200 for Director, Process Management
