Principal Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Description:
AFS is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity SME to apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. This SME will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats.
The Work:
- Perform the duties of the Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
- Coordinate with the ISSM (Gov’t CIV) to ensure Volta has an authority to operate (ATO) on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS
- Maintain the eMASS records
- Perform the duties described in the System Documentation
- Review and assess the risk of all Coder Workspace images
- Review and assess the risk of all software libraries made available to customers by the team
Here's what you need:
- BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with at least 5 years’ experience as a cybersecurity professional OR without a degree have at least 10 years’ experience as a cybersecurity professional
- 5 years’ experience with assessment and accreditation of a national security system (NSS)
- DoD privileged user account on a TS/SCI information system – meets DoD 8140 / 8570.01-m requirements

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- High levels of curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $122,600 - $198,800
Colorado: $122,600 - $171,700
New York City: $141,800 - $198,800
Washington: $130,500 - $182,800
