Marketing and Communications Assistant - Entry Level

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies.
• Help create engaging content for social media platforms, websites, and newsletters.
• Support internal and external communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
• Coordinate and assist with the planning and execution of events, webinars, and campaigns.
• Manage and update content on social media channels and the company website.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing and communications team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining files.
• Assist with creating marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
• Monitor and report on social media engagement and campaign performance.
• Help with market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to team efforts.
• Prior internship or volunteer experience in marketing or communications is a plus, but not required.
