Senior Network Engineer

Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking Senior Network Engineer to work at National Capital Region.
 A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position. 

Must also be able to attain/maintain DHS EOD 

This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network systems for DHS and its components.
• Lead implementation of network modernization initiatives, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams to meet technical and operational goals.
• Maintain network performance and security in accordance with DHS standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years supporting DHS LAN/WAN infrastructure and environments.
• Experience leading network modernization projects for DHS and/or DHS Components.

Experience/Skills:

• 15 or more years of experience designing and managing network infrastructure.
• Proven leadership in architecting complex enterprise network environments.
• Familiarity with DHS technical standards and operational environments.

Education:

• Master’s Degree in a related field is required.

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Active

Clearance:

• Active Secret clearance required
• Attain/Maintain DHS EOD required
• Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
