Teamcenter System Analyst
We’re looking for an experienced Teamcenter System Analyst to support, configure, and enhance our Siemens Teamcenter PLM environment in a complex, multi-site engineering organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on system administration and close collaboration with engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable PLM solutions.
What You’ll Do
Teamcenter Administration & Support
• Install, configure, and maintain Siemens Teamcenter across Windows and Linux environments
• Manage users, groups, subgroups, roles, and system volumes
• Perform environment configuration using Environment Manager (tem.bat), including adding/removing features and adjusting parameters
• Support Deployment Center activities and multi-site Teamcenter environments
• Execute routine Teamcenter DOS shell tasks such as clearlocks, clearlocks -assert all dead, and index verification
Security & Access Management
• Configure and maintain object-level permissions (items, item revisions, release statuses)
• Troubleshoot access and permission issues using Access Manager
• Apply and maintain ACLs, including workflow-specific ACLs
• Support environments requiring ITAR, CUI, and restricted data compliance
Workflow & Revision Control
• Create and maintain standard and site-specific workflows
• Troubleshoot “stuck” or failed workflows
• Understand and apply rule vs. action handlers appropriately
• Create and maintain revision rules, including updates to existing configurations
BMIDE & Data Model Management
• Design and maintain Teamcenter data models using BMIDE
• Create item types, naming rules, attributes, and Lists of Values (LOVs)
• Work with both Classic and BMIDE configurations
• Support Active Workspace configuration aligned to the data model
Collaboration & Integration
• Partner closely with engineering and business teams to map business processes into the PLM system
• Support CAD integrations and downstream system workflows
• Use scripting (Python, Perl) and SQL to support automation, troubleshooting, and data management
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
• 4–7+ years of experience as a PLM or Teamcenter System Analyst / Administrator
• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter
• Solid understanding of SQL databases and Teamcenter data structures
• Proven experience with BMIDE data model configuration
• Working knowledge of CAD integrations and Active Workspace
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams
• Ability to travel up to 20%
Preferred Certifications
• Siemens Certified Professional – Teamcenter Installation or Administration
