    • Start times: 6:30 AM or 9:00 AM

  • Pay Range: $26.52 – $40.90/hour (based on experience)
  • On-Call Differential: $2.00/hour
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
  • Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (for candidates relocating 75+ miles)

Overview

A Level IV trauma, high-acuity acute care hospital in the Denver area is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support a large, advanced Surgical Services department. This role supports complex adult and pediatric surgical cases in a technologically advanced OR environment with direct ICU access.

This opportunity is ideal for CSTs who are confident scrubbing high-complexity cases, value teamwork, and want to work in a tertiary/quaternary surgical setting with strong financial incentives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the scrub role for a wide range of surgical procedures while maintaining strict aseptic technique.

  • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for assigned cases.

  • Anticipate surgeon needs and provide efficient intraoperative support.

  • Assist with case breakdown and preparation for subsequent or next-day procedures.

  • Demonstrate proficiency with instrumentation, equipment, and supplies across multiple surgical specialties.

  • Serve as a preceptor and resource for new surgical technologists and students as needed.

  • Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit needs.

  • Support patient safety initiatives and comply with all surgical protocols and standards.

Clinical Environment

  • Level IV Trauma designation

  • 18 Operating Rooms, including hybrid suites and integrated spine/navigation rooms

  • Advanced surgical technology, including robotics and complex imaging

  • ICU directly attached to the OR

Service Lines Include:
Complex Spine, Joint Revision, Limb Preservation, Orthopedic Oncology, Transplant (Liver & Kidney), Neuro, Trauma, High-Risk OB, Vascular, ENT, GYN, Plastics, General Surgery, Dedicated Spine and Transplant Services

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

  • Current CST certification (NBSTSA).

  • Active Colorado Surgical Technologist registration (DORA).

  • BLS certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience as a Surgical Technologist.

  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation and reside within 30 minutes of the facility.

Preferred

  • Experience scrubbing complex or specialty surgical cases.

  • Experience serving as a preceptor or mentor.
