Job Description:
Capgemini is seeking a Business Analyst who has previous experience working at a reputed investment bank to join the team in New York City NY. The Business Analyst will serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) engaging with the business to expand business requirements as well as working with them on system and data questions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements
- Serve as a liaison with customers, business unit and delivery team in all phases of development from product definition to deployment.
- Assist manager on operational work.
- Partner with the business to help translate high level business requirements into detailed functional testable specifications
- Work as a member of an Agile squad in the development.
- Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternative solutions & project strategies and engage in negotiations.
- Write BDD cases that can be used to streamline QA and UAT processes.
Required Skills:
- Interpersonal skills paired with technical skills in order to successfully implement this work
- Experience and understanding of Anti Money Laundering AML eco system involving KYC Processes, Sanctions, Screening and Suspicious Activity Reporting, etc.
- Functional knowledge of Sanctions Screening tools by Accuity, Fircosoft, LexisNexi
- Knowledge of interpreting sanctions list such as OFAC EU UN and HMT.
- Experience in analysis design of sanctions lists on large data sets and review of results.
- Data Analysis skills using tool such as DB2 or Python to derive significant insights.
- Experience in audits reviews and assessments of AML programs.
