The Raytheon, Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Inter Organization Transfers (IOT) has an immediate opening for a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3) to join our team located at our McKinney, TX site.  The successful candidate will be able to help support a group of financial analysts responsible for the daily business and financial activities for programs within the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Counter- UAS portfolio.  The selected candidate will drive the operations finance process, monitor program health and compliance, and partner with other functional team members to improve program financial metrics. In addition, this position is responsible for actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the responsible programs.  Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required as well as support of 5 Year and AOP forecasting.

What You Will Do:

• Cost/schedule control and analysis

• Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

• Forecasting

• Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE)

• Variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting

• Partnering with the Program Manager and CAMs/IPTLs, and providing financial leadership in the successful execution of various development contracts

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically candidates will have a bachelors degree and 5 years’ financial based experience or an advanced degree and 3 years experience.

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

• Experience/working knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, related systems, and processes

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience developing program financials including time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, Earned Value (EV) data compliance and reporting, cost accounting and ongoing overseeing of cost and schedule integration

• Experience developing financial artifacts such as EV reports, chars, and analysis, as required.

• Experience in using SAP Business Systems APEX EV & PRISM EV

• Exceptional analytical ability necessary to ensure program performance to plan and to ensure that problem areas are immediately identified, and corrective action is taken

• Ability to provide strategic financial leadership for the program including areas such as cost management and program growth

• Ability to quickly assimilate into the business portfolio and become influential within the suite of programs and functional support

• Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and independently create and accurately analyze cost data

• Organizational skills in leading/coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines

• Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc.) in program development and execution

• Individual must be a self-starter and an independent worker in support of the program
