Allianz' Global Mobility seamlessly transfers employees across borders by managing all matters of international employment for all businesses, globally. We are responsible for the strategic development of international mobility programs, policies, processes and their implementation and administration.

 

We are seeking a Global Mobility Consultant (m/f/d) as a maternity/parental leave cover to support us in the operational assignment management.

 

 

How can you make an impact?

 

You will:

• Manage all types of international assignments at all hierarchical levels within the area of responsibility throughout the entire assignment life-cycle
• Pro-actively engage with internal stakeholders in a key account role for particular global lines and business divisions
• Consult HR professionals, business managers, local Global Mobility Coordinators and assignees in all matters regarding Global Mobility, finding appropriate mobility solutions which meet the needs of the business and employees whilst fulfilling compliance requirements of both home and host countries
• Understand and apply the various global assignment policies, country compensation and benefit structures, legal, tax, social security and immigration requirements of the various home/ host country combinations
• Interface with tax advisors and other external suppliers on a daily basis to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations
• Prepare and administer all relevant documents, including cost estimates, balance sheets, payroll instructions as well as international assignment letters
• Manage or participate in special mobility related projects and actively support in various strategic initiatives 
• Engage to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes

 

 

What are you made of?

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of the assignment life-cycle and expert knowledge of related compliance topics (legal, tax, social security and immigration), compensation and benefit structures
• Considerable experience in consulting on assignment solutions in accordance with standards and the associated challenges within a large organization
• Relevant project management experience, experience in vendor management and/ or implementation of IT tools
• Strong customer service orientation
• Able to work independently with appropriate level of communication and stakeholder management
• Solid delivery focus with the ability to see the “big picture”
• Sound process orientation essential
• Effective interpersonal skills, team player, counselling and conflict resolution skills
• Comfortable operating at a fast pace and dealing with change, flexible and thinking outside the box 
• Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent, preferably in related field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; German is a plus
