JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Agile Project Manager to lead the delivery and evolution of the Interop platform. The  platform includes integration and decisioning technologies such as Boomi, Azure Event Hub, Go Anywhere MFT and Decision Rules Engine. You will be responsible for end-to-end agile delivery, platform governance, engineering excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to support critical integration and event-driven architecture use cases.

This is a hybrid, twice-a-week in-office role in our Jersey City, Hartford, OR Raleigh offices.

Essential RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead Agile ceremonies for multiple delivery squads aligned to Interop.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Platform Engineers to prioritize backlog and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Drive roadmap execution, sprint delivery, and ensure continuous improvement in delivery velocity and product quality.
  • Oversee delivery of integration patterns across systems using Boomi, and event-driven communication via Azure Event Hub.
  • Manage and evolve secure file transfers through GoAnywhere MFT and ensure compliance and security standards.
  • Champion the development and deployment of decision logic using business rules engines (e.g., Drools, FICO or equivalent).
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for platform components to ensure scalability, performance, and high availability.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams using Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
  • Excellent understanding of Agile metrics, backlog management, and release planning.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and escalations.
  • Skilled at resolving cross-team dependencies and removing delivery roadblocks.
  • Responsible for effective and timely development of new and/or enhanced systems/technologies.
  • Monitors all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle and Production Support service levels. Ensures high level technical support is provided.
  • Works closely with customers, other IT managers, and management to identify and maximize opportunities to use technology to improve business processes.
  • Prepares business cases, including financial analyses of potential new technologies/systems/applications. Evaluates based on company strategic needs and resource availability.
  • Oversee business analysis, development work and quality assurance of projects for assigned systems/technologies.
  • Collaborate effectively at all levels to prepare strategic plans. Ensures system requests tie into objectives of the company strategy map and budgets.
  • Contributes to the development of information technology, development standards, policies, processes and procedures to ensure consistent compatibility and integration throughout the company.
  • Continuously reviews the technology needs of supported business functions/processes relative to new technological developments and trends. Keeps abreast of the industry and emerging technology
  • Participates in vendor/strategic partner evaluations and monitors the relationship on an ongoing basis.
  • Prepares/manages department budget: P&L forecasting, operational/capital expenditures, contract negotiations and invoice processing
  • Leads and manages teams to accomplish objectives through effective recruitment & selection, training & development, performance management and rewards & recognition.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Deep understanding of integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous batch, streaming, messaging).
  • Hands-on or architectural exposure to Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus.
  • Understanding of API-first architecture, event-driven design, microservices, and domain-driven design.
  • Experience in leading a platform or CoE team, driving adoption across multiple delivery lines.
  • Foster DevOps and Automation-first culture, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code(IaC).
  • Experience driving simplification, standardization, and reusable design practices across teams.
  • Broad knowledge of software development techniques
