Human Resources Business Partner II

The Human Resources Business Partner II may be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Involved in all facets of the Human Resources Functions such as, payroll, benefits, leave of absence, employee relations, talent development, etc.
- Analyzing and overseeing department projects including managing the responsibilities and delegation to other individuals involved.
- Consulting and supporting the team to designate business units to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives.
- Utilize knowledge of various human resources functions to provide support to extended team members
- Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.
- Manages projects from planning through delivery.
- Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.
- Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
- Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans.
Required Technical Skills:
- Ability to proficiently operate computers with experience using Microsoft Suites (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain comprehensive records and notes
- Ability to identify issues and concerns as they arise and assist in developing plans for resolution.
Required Soft Skills:
- Ability to be a self-starter and work without direct supervision
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- The ability to collaborate and engage with others outside of the department
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and on the phone
Educations, Certifications, and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of Human Resources and Payroll Experience
The following is preferred, but not required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Knowledge of federal and state leave laws, disability programs, and FMLA
- Project Management experience
Physical Requirements:
(S)he will be required to sit and stand for long periods of time. (S)he will be required to stoop, bend, and reach above the head and below the knees to file and retrieve data.
