Summary of Job Duties:

The Assistant Professor is a full-time, nine-month tenure track faculty position that will teach Design Studio and Advanced Digital Technologies in the Department of Architecture. The position requires ability and capacity to teach and develop coursework within a five-year Undergraduate Professional Bachelor of Architecture curriculum.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Terminal graduate degree in architecture (M.Arch or equivalent)

• Demonstrated ability to teach and/or coordinate design studio in the Undergraduate Professional BArch Program

• Recognized body of creative work
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated abilities and willingness to lead implementation in the use of advanced digital technologies incrementally across the curriculum

• Professional Licensure

• Post-professional education in architecture or an allied discipline

• Evidence of successful teaching in studios, lectures and seminars

• Experience teaching undergraduate courses across the departmental curriculum
