The Associate Director, Recruitment and Admissions manages all activities related to the recruitment, marketing, yield, and admissions of the Master of Science in Global Real Assets (MS-GRA). This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of recruiting outreach including creating the marketing strategy and recruitment plan, liaising with our external marketing firm and internal marketing department, and managing and executing the lead and applicant journey (answering all emails, telephone calls, and walk-in inquiries for the MS-GRA programs). Reporting to the Associate Dean of Graduate Program Admissions with a dotted line to the Director for the Steers Center for Global Real Estate, duties include but are not limited to:
Create and implement all procedures for recruitment outreach and follow-up with prospects.
Ensure that all marketing content materials (both printed and online) are up to date and factually represent MS-GRA program goals.
Create the email communication strategy and write/send emails within our marketing automation platform, Marketo.
Plan recruiting events such as on and off campus information sessions and online information sessions and occasionally travel to represent MSB at recruiting fairs (domestically/internationally).
Update the tracking reports on recruitment and admissions status and work on special projects as per the Associate Dean‘s request.
Manage outside vendors for contracts (catering, marketing vendors), coordinating with various Georgetown University offices, such as the Office of Financial Aid and the Veterans Affairs office.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
At least 3-5 years in a professional environment; experience in a higher education/admissions environment is highly desirable
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Outstanding interpersonal abilities and a poised, professional demeanor
Ability to exercise good judgment in maintaining confidential data with a critical eye for detail
Critical ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute, as well as build relationships with prospective applicants
Experience planning and managing a wide range of events and activities
Confidence to take initiative, ask questions, and make recommendations with the end goal of process improvement and customer satisfaction
Comfort in working directly with executives at all levels and a genuine desire to understand and engage with international cultures
Familiarity with a marketing automation tool like Marketo and/or CRM tool like Salesforce preferred
Knowledge of admissions information systems/databases strongly preferred
