The Role at a Glance

As the Life and MoneyGuard Brokerage Divisional Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of 10 wholesalers with a national footprint, driving growth in two critical product lines: Life Insurance and MoneyGuard® Long-Term Care (LTC) solutions covering the Brokerage channel.

 

In this role, you’ll set strategic priorities that expand market share and increase revenue, while building strong relationships with key firms and institutions. You’ll develop and execute innovative sales programs, deliver impactful product training, and collaborate across Lincoln Financial Group to uncover cross-selling opportunities. By anticipating market trends and championing process improvements, you’ll position your team and the Lincoln for continued success.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with firms and institutions to understand their business models, product needs, and customer experience expectations.
  • Create and manage sales initiatives, promotional strategies, and product training sessions for external clients within your region.
  • Develop and execute business plans that optimize wholesaler productivity and align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior leadership to identify cross-selling opportunities within Lincoln Financial Group’s portfolio.
  • Allocate and oversee financial budgets for your region, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Anticipate market trends and deliver strategies and solutions to address complex wholesale challenges and emerging developments.
  • Hire, retain, and coach top-performing wholesalers, providing training and stretch assignments to build organizational capability.
  • Support enterprise initiatives and lead process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain expertise in Life Insurance and MoneyGuard® LTC products, incorporating new developments into future strategies.
    Adhere to LFDs Culture of Compliance. Comply with LFDs policies and procedures.

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ Years of experience in financial services sales management and/or life and LTC sales experience. 
  • 3 - 5+ Years managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience
  • FINRA Serie 6, 63, L&H
  • FINRA Series 24 or 26
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment

The pay range for this position is $225,000 - $530,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limit
