<p>We’ve taken over a landmark restaurant in Middleton, and after a full renovation, <strong>The Fork &amp; Wheel</strong> is ready to welcome applications for an enthusiastic and experienced <strong>Sous Chef</strong> to join our team. If you’re passionate about hospitality and excited to be part of something special, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations.</li> <li>Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high standards are met.</li> <li>Contribute to menu development and ensure food quality consistency.</li> <li>Oversee food preparation and presentation during service.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.</li> <li>Help maintain stock control and assist with ordering.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years’ experience in a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role.</li> <li>Strong leadership and communication skills.</li> <li>Experience in high-volume service environments.</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to start in a brand-new restaurant.
