The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall management, organization, and supervision of warehouse operations. This includes overseeing inventory management, coordinating shipping and receiving, maintaining a safe working environment, and managing a team of warehouse personnel to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity. What you get to do every day

• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely deliveries and shipments
• Manage WMS system accuracy and data integrity, as well as all reporting functionality 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and throughput 
• Provide technical expertise and training to all areas of the warehouse
• Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, putaway and storage
• Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, system accuracy and ensure proper storage rotation (FEFO)
• Conduct regular system audits and physical inventory cycle counts to minimize discrepancies 
• Maintains physical condition of the warehouse, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Implement and oversee safety protocols and compliance, creating a safe work environment for all warehouse operators
• Coordinate with shipping and freight carriers to manage pick-up and delivery schedules
• Maintain a sufficient balance of supplies to ensure continuous order processing
• Develop processes and best practices for warehouse operations
• Report any inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis, driving continuous improvement 
• Manage vendor relationships that directly impact warehouse operations
• Monitor expenditures, identify cost-savings opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize spending
• Lead, train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Set performance goals and KPIs for the warehouse team, regularly evaluating and providing feedback
• Coordinate inventory disposals and create obsolescence visibility reporting Review and manage workflows, staffing requirements, warehouse utilization and equipment needs, providing recommendations as needed

What you bring to the role 

• Forklift certified 
• Management experience 3-5 years; Total warehouse 7-10 years 
• WMS experience 
• Inventory Control experience
• Microsoft Excel 

Bonus points

• Lean 5S / Six Sigma certification 
• Netsuite experience
