About the role
Overview
T. Rowe Price seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Owings Mills, MD to:
- Create and maintain complex technical solutions and a suite of next-generation, cloud native applications.
- Responsible to plan and implement large-scale, enterprise-level distributed applications, support complex data infrastructure, and present user-friendly reports.
- Contribute to all phases of project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, solution design, and application.
Minimum Requirements
- Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of experience in a related development occupation including oriented programming in C# or Java or Python, web development technologies such as JavaScript like Angular or React, RESTful Webservices, Spring, database design (postgress or Oracle), querying databases with SQL, distributed code repository (Git or Mercurial) and automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Gitlab CI), and Agile development processes.
- Must have 2+ years’ experience in Cloud technologies such as AWS.

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
