 Position Summary 


The HR Generalist serves as a key liaison between Human Resources and assigned departments. This role is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, benefits, training coordination, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving HR excellence in a dynamic, team-based environment.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR contact for assigned departments, providing guidance and day-to-day support.
  • Coordinate payroll activities: timecard reviews, corrections, status changes, and payroll reporting via Paylocity.
  • Assist with employee relations matters such as conflict resolution, coaching, and disciplinary documentation.
  • Oversee the full onboarding process: offer letters, orientation planning, system access, and documentation.
  • Administer employee leave programs (FMLA, STD, ADA) and maintain communication and tracking.
  • Support recruitment: application reviews, interview scheduling, job shadows, and internal transfers.
  • Administer benefits programs: enrollments, changes, COBRA, 401K updates, and open enrollment.
  • Coordinate and assign LMS trainings for onboarding and ongoing staff development.
  • Support offboarding processes: resignation tracking, termination paperwork, IT coordination, and exit interviews.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures; support Workers' Compensation cases.
  • Provide occasional office support: scrub and swag ordering, online store management, milestone card coordination.
  • Perform inter-office travel as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $62,000- $68,000

Full Time, Exempt 


Requirements


  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in a generalist HR role.  
  • An associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.  
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, aPHR) strongly preferred.  
  • Prior experience in healthcare or medical office settings is a plus.  
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and platforms like Monday.com.  
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
