Job Description

Facilitates and manages day-to-day operations of the department, including fiscal and human resources processes. Supports and ensures that comprehensive patient care services are being provided that support the integrity of the family system and patient care team. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience

  • 3 years of clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Respiratory Clinical Resource, Preceptor, or Lead/Supervisor
  • Previous leadership experience within a healthcare setting

Education

  • Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Arts degree

Certification Summary

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist certified by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Current license in the state of Georgia as a Respiratory Care Professional
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association within 12 months of hire
  • Secondary certification for Respiratory Therapy by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), within 1 year of hire
  • Active Member of American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC) with subspeciality
