The mission of the Project Engineer is to provide full support to the PMO, Program, and Project Managers by assisting with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and management of technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities
The Project Engineer assists and supports the PMO, Project Managers, and Program Managers by:



Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, documentation, and information


Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives


Ensuring client needs are met as projects evolve


Participating in site meetings


Assisting in preparing action plans using time and budget resources


Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards


Monitoring project progress and responding to issues as they arise


Acting as a point of contact and communicating project status to all participants


Working with project and program managers to eliminate project blockers


Using tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures


Creating and maintaining project documentation, plans, and reports


Conducting quality assurance tests to ensure standards and requirements are met


Managing small moves, adds, and changes


Performing other duties as assigned



Qualifications



Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field


2 or more years of field and project planning experience


Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Planner, Project)


Strong working knowledge of BlueBeam and PlanGrid


Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans


Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices



Skills



Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment


Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Strong organizational and problem-solving skills


Excellent oral and written communication skills


Strong client-facing and teamwork abilities


Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing


Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia
