Area Center Medical Director

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing technical support for medical operations
• Provides vision for strategic direction of programs utilizing newest technologies and automation
• Ensures programs and collections processes are in accordance with regulatory and internal quality standards
• Collaborates with global partners to develop specifications for screening procedures, immunization programs and/or pooling plans to meet manufacturing demand
• Prepares reports and audits to monitor and improve efficiency of operations

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• 7 years' experience in clinical laboratory and immunohematology
• Knowledge of FDA, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) regulations

. Ability to travel up to 70% as required
