Recently acquired by Avery Dennison, the company employs around 200 employees in Europe, located across 5 countries.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>About the Role - what we can offer you!</strong></p><p>The Assistant Finance Manager contributes to the integration of Thermopatch's financial processes with those of Avery Dennison. With a high degree of independence, the role is responsible for preparing various financial reports, budgets and forecasts. The Assistant Finance Manager sits in a team of 8 purchasing and finance specialists, based in our headquarters offices in Almere.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include (but not limited to)</strong></p><ul><li>The preparation of consolidated periodic figures and associated analysis </li><li>Analysis and reporting of production results </li><li>Preparation and monitoring of cash flow reports and budgets</li><li>Cost price calculations and transfer pricing policy </li><li>Monitoring of payroll process, credit control and purchasing </li><li>VAT declaration as well as ICL and intrastat</li><li>Contacts with finance managers of business units in Helmond, France, UK, Germany and Poland </li><li>Coordination of work within the administrative team</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>What we expect from you - your expertise!</strong></p><ul><li>A proactive and enterprising approach</li><li>Minimum HBO diploma in the financial field and 2 years of work experience in a similar position</li><li>Fluent in Dutch and English language skills</li><li>Expert level Excel knowledge is a requirement</li><li>Other systems knowledge that would be beneficial:<ul><li>Knowledge of Microsoft and Google Workspace </li><li>Knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&amp;O and/or Hyperion or comparable ERP systems, such as SAP </li><li>Experience with Power BI </li></ul></li><li>Analytical and numerical skills, able to simplify complex matters and convert them into improvement actions </li><li>Good planning and communication skills</li><li>Be a team player and enthusiastic</li><li>You not only have an eye for numbers, but also have the ability to see that numbers and people together make an organization successful and that one cannot do without the other</li></ul><p><strong>What we can offer you</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary plus annual incentive scheme</li><li>Benefits including pension scheme, commuting allowance, 26 vacation days, contribution to health insurance costs   </li><li>Hybrid working can be an option upon agreement</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Avery Dennison : Who we are! - Our Story</strong></p><p>Each of us, Every day!<a href="https://www.averydennison.com/en/home/about-us/values.html"> Eight Values</a>.
