Salary/Position Classification
- $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 10-12 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only UND students who have accepted a Federal Work Study (FWS) Financial Aid Offer are eligible to be hired into this position.
Work at the Ask Us Desk in Chester Fritz Library, a busy, customer-service centered environment where staff promote and support use of library collections, services and spaces by all members of our community. Available hours are 7 days/week in Fall and Spring, including evenings and nights. Higher hourly salary is available for later hours. We are looking for friendly, flexible students who enjoy working with others and are willing to learn.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer wayfinding questions and assist in basic reference support in-person and via phone
- Computer/ technology support
- Promote library resources and services
- Help plan and support library events and outreach
- Continuously learn through trainings and meetings
- Other projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must be current UND students (any discipline) and enrolled at UND for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Must have an accepted Federal Work Study award.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
