2023 Summer Intern - Cell Therapy

We are seeking a Cell Therapy Intern to work side by side with team members of the Cell Therapy Department. With the mentorship of experienced Scientists, you will  have an opportunity to gain exposure to literary review, single-cell RNA sequencing data and other related activities. An intern would also have the opportunity to learn molecular biology techniques and apply them to create material that will be necessary in experiments planned for the rest of 2023.This role will be based in Emeryville, California.

 

About the Internship 

 

• Duration of program is 8 weeks July 24th 2023 - September 15th 2023 
• Ownership of challenging and educational projects related to Cell Therapy 
• Work alongside Scientists with significant relevant Biotech experience 
• Learn analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing 
• Learn cloning of plasmid vectors for FuncGen screening
• Hands-on molecular biology lab work
• Attend project team meetings
• Learn molecular biology techniques and apply them to create material that will be necessary in experiments planned for the rest of 2023.
  

 

Internship Eligibility

 

• Enrolled currently in an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited college/university
• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date
• Strict adherence to lab safety rules and regulations
• Effective oral and written communication skills, flexible and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 

 

We will be offering $20.00 per hour. Please note, all candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
