Business Intern

Come work with us! Saiful Bouquet Structural Engineers is in search of a full-time Business Intern to join our Administrative Team in our Downtown Los Angeles office. This Business Intern will work closely with our Office Director / Controller and Marketing Manager to manage the research and input historical project data, implement a template to consistently capture all necessary information for projects, organize hard and soft copy project data, and other process improvement measures to advance Saiful Bouquet’s office operations.

Requirements

Key responsibilities include:

· Input contact and project information in established data entry formats and prepare for integration in Deltek/CRM platform.

· Ensure that contact information for each company is up to date and correct.

· Developing tools and methods for data update, import/export, and maintenance process to help rollout CRM platform

· Project manage and provide transparency into prioritization and execution in coordination with Management Team

· Regularly maintain and report on tasks and actions to direct managers

· Assist in maintaining office organization and other support tasks as needed

Qualifications:

· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related business focused field.

· Have academic or some professional experience working in an office environment

· Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Must understand the uses and methods around data usage and storage and reporting

· Can execute tasks efficiently and pivot when new information becomes available

· Have ability to innovate upon existing processes to create greater efficiency

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Are well-organized, excellent work ethic, diligence, self-starting, and an ability to learn

· Proficiency or experience with MS Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Access, Excel, and Word)

· CRM experience helpful – training will be provided
