About the role

Wyandotte Public Schools is seeking a Cook, Food Service Worker to assist with daily breakfast and lunch service, M-F from 7:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Roosevelt High School.

Qualifications:

  1. High school graduate.
  2. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  3. Able to follow directions well.
  4. Able to work in large group situations.
  5. Able to work well with students of all ages.

 Terms of Employment:

  1. School year schedule, AFSCME Local 734 Food Service bargaining unit position; 2 hours per day.
  2. Salary and benefits as determined by the Master Agreement.

Position Accountability: 
Must abide by health, sanitation, and safety rules. 
Regular and predictable attendance is expected. 
Duties could include the preparation and serving of food, cashier, cleaning the kitchen and serving areas.
Other duties assigned by the kitchen manager or food service director.
