Job Description

As a Mid-Level Superintendent, you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm capable of executing ONEsolution integrated project delivery work. Experience collaboration and continuous learning like never before amongst subject matter experts spanning across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and automation engineering; architecture and lab planning; procurement, estimation, virtual design & construction, health & safety, and construction management. This diversity of professionals allows us to provide innovative & impactful solutions to the Life Sciences and Food & Bev industries in an era where speed, quality, and creativity have never been more critical. 

How will I contribute?

You will be critical to the successful delivery of small to large scale capital construction projects in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and other advanced technology markets. You will be responsible for directly managing construction activities to meet specifications, delivering the project within budgeted cost and by the scheduled completion date. Additionally, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating with internal architects and engineers, as well as client, subcontractor, and vendor interfaces. Project sizes will vary and will consist of both existing building renovations / retrofits and new construction. 

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a project’s construction activities to meet specifications, delivering the project within budgeted cost and by the scheduled completion date
• Coordinate, plan, and supervise craft superintendents, contractors and/or craft activates on projects
• Oversee scopes of work ranging from $1-5MM with some guidance from senior level leadership 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Science, or Engineering or equivalent job experience required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience

Additional Qualifications

• Team-oriented individual capable of managing others
• Demonstrated success in managing the construction scope on mid-sized projects
• Design/Build experience a plus
• Demonstrated planning ability, specifically in regard to Lean Tools for schedule, constructability, sequencing, etc.
• Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office suite, an iPad or handheld device
• Capable of learning new computer programs for project management and reporting. Experience with PlanGrid highly desired
• Experience with mobile devices and VDC apps a plus
