We are seeking an Innovations Operations Intern to assist with the operational excellence initiatives for the DaVita Clinical Research team. This teammate will assist in the day-to-day activities related to clinical research studies under the supervision of experienced teammates. The intern will gain exposure to the design, implementation, and management of clinical trials and will support efforts to ensure studies are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, protocols, and ethical guidelines.

This position is a Part-Time position and will be based in our Edina, MN office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
25% - Assist with study start-up, recruitment, and enrollment of study subjects
25% - Perform data entry and data quality control tasks
20% - Participate in team meetings, trainings, and study reviews
25% - Handle general administrative duties related to research operations
5% - Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma is required
Currently enrolled in a college or university program related to the field of interest is strongly preferred
Motivated self-starter with high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow through.
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Ability to adjust priorities appropriately in an evolving work environment with shifting time frames
Experience in managing confidential information and/or issues using discretion and good judgment
DaVita Clinical Research (DCR), a wholly owned subsidiary of DaVita Inc., is the research arm of DaVita. DCR innovates through retrospective outcomes research aimed at improving care and quality of life for people with kidney disease. DCR assists pharmaceutical and medical device companies in the design, recruitment and completion of clinical trials using its renal research site network.
