Job Summary:
 

Lead the Finance, Accounting, Legal and Compliance functions in support of corporate and client financial needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff
• Oversee the daily workflow of the department
• Provide constructive and timely performance evaluation
• Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy

Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning - Responsible for working on planning, strategic plan building and follow-up, through strategy plan exercise, budget planning and annual action definition, aiming at defining, monitoring and reaching the goals for the company.
• Business Support - Responsible for the preparation of analyses, forecasts, quotations and various reports, including providing the company and the Group with reliable information for decision making and the achievement of corporate objectives.
• Controlling - Responsible for control of management and costs from the analysis to the implementation of recommendations based on these findings, with the most profitable outcomes.
• Accounting - Responsible for the accounting area ensuring that accounting records, reconciliations and analyses are carried out in accordance with the accounting rules and principles, as well as the standards and policies established by headquarters, in order to comply with current legislation and support the decisions.
• Financial - Ensure the efficiency of payments and receipts operations, through the definition of guidelines and policies that seek to guarantee the financial health of the company. Implement efficient and secured process related to all payment flows with the stakeholders (clients, financial institutions, schemes);
• Tax and Fiscal – With the support of external advisors, responsible for the management of all contracts (suppliers, partners and clients) and for ensuring the correct application of the tax legislation and its ancillary obligations, defining fiscal norms and procedures, aiming at exempting the company from tax risks, ensuring the accuracy of figures, and compliance with deadlines.
• Compliance – Supervision of compliance activities in order to comply with the regulation, and contribute to define the best strategy in term of compliance and licensing to prevent any regulatory risk related to the qualification as payment initiator / payment services.
• Cash Flow and Investments - Responsible for the planning and control of the cash flow, financial investments, aiming to maximize the financial result.
• Corporate Finance Projects – When relevant, analyze the opportunities for acquisitions, alliances and partnerships, jointly with the General Manager, involving economic-financial evaluation and strategic objectives, in order to support the decision-making for these opportunities.
• Committee Meetings - Participate in meetings of the executive committee, together with other directors, make decisions and establish strategies, aiming at the development and success of the company.
